With Dr. Julia Royston.
SPEAKER_03Well, hello, I'm Dr. Julia Royston. Welcome to another edition, which I'm super excited. Another edition of Live Your Best Life, where I'm always seeking to bring you people, places, tools, information, and resources to help you live your best life. Okay, so the young lady I have with me today, I've known for years, like years and years and years. And y'all know how excited I get when I have people on I've known a long time, they've known me a long time, and then we were we we met in one space and now we in another space, and woo! And as I said, we didn't roll each other's eyes at each other, and we're like, yeah, girl, keep going. Hey, where are you going next? So I'm super excited to bring on one of those people who, you know, met me when I sang, and and now see me with books, and I'm beyond, you know, we we're ready to have a wonderful conversation. And hopefully we can do something together again. Maybe not musically, maybe business-wise. We'll figure that out. But and I want her to state her name, where she's from, where she is on social media, and give us that beautiful website I saw earlier.
SPEAKER_09Take it away. Hello, everyone. My name is LaShonda Ewing. I am from the great city of Cincinnati, Ohio. I am super excited. Some of you know me as an author, some of you know me as a psalmist, some of you know me as a preacher, some of you know me as a coach. God has been so good to me and allowed me to do so many different things. On social media, on Instagram, you can find me at I M underscore Lashonda Ewing. How do you spell that? L-A-S-H-A-U-N-D-A-E-W-I-N-G. And that is on Instagram. You can also find me on Instagram at my wisdomflows. For my website, my website is also called mywisdomflows.com. So we're super excited to share out with you today and to meet with my sister Julia. She's right. We got history, and God has really allowed us to connect on so many different levels, and I'm excited for this season as well.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh, I don't know where to start. Um, what my wisdom flow. Okay, so uh, so how did we get from singing in choirs, preaching in churches to my wisdom flows? Then what does that look like? And how did you get here? Like uh I can truthfully say BK Royston Publishing was birthed out of pain, and then joy it again after I left Cincinnati because I used to live there and came back home and went through all that bumpy ride, and then realized, oh, okay, now I've arrived here at purpose. Really? I'm supposed to marry him? He's cute, okay. I'm good. Oh, yeah, he's smart too. Okay, yay, new life, new city, new state, new everything. And so you the wisdom will flow from that. But how did you get from on your journey?
SPEAKER_09So the Lord gave me wisdom flows umpteen years ago. That title, that name, wisdom flows. And I was like, okay, and at that time, so let me just talk about delayed but not denied, right? And he gave me that title years ago. I went on VistaPrint, printed it, and I was like, whatever the Lord's gonna do with it, let's go ahead and do with it. And he even gave me the tagline, which was letting spirit and knowledge be your guide. Now that being said, stepping out on faith, which some of us understand is that we can step out on faith, but sometimes we let other people dictate our faith. Oh, wow. Come on, preacher. So what I'm saying that to say that I started this probably over 10, 12 years ago, but really only in the last, I think in 2022, is when I got it officially put it on the state at the LLC level. And what happened was you know me, Julia, we sing, we teach in church, we do all of those amazing things. And I also am member of Semigamoros Sorry Incorporated. And I used to always teach these classes at our conferences. And people were like, Where's the book? Where's the book that goes with this? Where's the workbook? And I'm like, Y'all ain't no book. I'm just teaching classes because that's what we do, right? We just give, give. And then somebody else asked me, Where's the book? Where's the book? I I don't know what you're talking about. There's no book. And so um, one of the persons that I mentored at Wilberforge University, proud HBC, you graduated from Wilberforce University. She came up to me at the conference. She's also a minister's wife, she's a woman of God in her own right, and she walked straight to my face. I don't know she's like, Hey, sis. I was like, Hey, beautiful. God told me to tell you to write the book. Now you're one of those. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When God says that you just gotta stop and do what the Lord says, yeah, not only did He tell him you to write it, he told me to help you write the book. Oh, okay. Now that that does make a difference. Yeah, it does. And she's a scribe coach. So if the Lord's telling the scribe coach to help the writer write, and so we labored with it. We took all of the workshops that we done that people kept asking for the book. We took the sermons and we put it together. And one of the things that really made it pivotal, pivotal, uh, was there was a young lady that I taught because I was, you know, IT, education, back to IT. And while I was teaching, I taught math and I was also a volleyball coach. One of the most beautiful young ladies you will ever meet, came from a rough background. And one of the things that also kind of pushed this was I got a call and said she had unalived herself.
SPEAKER_03Oh man, yeah.
SPEAKER_09Due to stress, due to everything. And when I heard that, I was sitting down at breakfast with some people, of course, immediately touched by this, and like ticker tape across someone's face. I kept seeing the words enough of the lies that you tell, I am great. Yeah. And so that is a chapter in the book. So it really came from a place of we were already teaching, and people wanted to have that as a platform. The Lord said so. The Lord said so. Hello. The Lord said so. And then we also had that opportunity to be able to possibly create an atmosphere so people could really see the greatness that was in them, hence the title of the book, Ball's Rights, where ball stands for built for opportunity, success, and service. All of us have it, all of us are gifted with it. We just need to walk into it and own the rights and authority the Lord has already given us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And that's so, you know, that that sounds like, well, if God's in you and He's giving you the gifts and talents and abilities to do it, this is where the frustration I am as a coach and as a mentor and as uh just a person that helps other people write, etc., is that it would be something if we had if we were trying to mold or create them into something that they don't have already. You know how you see people, you're like, okay, oh no, they just learned it. They didn't, but when I see people who have the gifts and talents and abilities already in them, the oil is dripping off of them. It's a bit on the floor. Um you know, they just start talking. Sometimes they don't even talk. They just walk in the room and prophecy starts flowing everything, and then they okay. This is the part that just really I'm like bitch younger. I hate him and he hates me. Me and the devil. I hate him and he hates me. So is that baby today? Oh, no, I'm not supposed to do that. No, like when I see it, you don't see it. Are you looking at the same mirror I'm looking at? Are you feeling the same thing?
SPEAKER_09I'm you know, so part of that though is literally that again. Uh the delay in me was because I was listening to other people. The delay in me, not the anointing in me, but the delay in me. And that's why we have to be so careful of who we lend our ears to, and some of the people that we don't even need to lend our ear to are the people that are closest to us because they don't understand the vision, the anointing, the gifts, the room, the resources the Lord is already preparing for us to move us forward. So when we try to walk by faith, we cannot doubt. And sometimes that's a struggle because we look at what we have and forget what God already got.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_09So we just gotta be still, set aside time to actually move forward and just trust the parachute will open if we jump.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, the other T piece too is that, you know, uh when God told me to leave Cincinnati and go back home, I cried all the way down 71 and 75. You know, I was home. Gulfers, and I was like, no, no, it took me months to pack that little apartment. It took me months. I didn't have a one-bedroom apartment, it took me months to pack it. Oh, really? But you know, when you're in Cincinnati and and I'll say real quickly, you know, you you're working for PG, you set, baby. It's a like, baby, like where we go. We go to work to do work. Who? And it only took God for me to leave that job. Only God would tell you to leave a job that you like, huh? You know, like you're at the pinnacle of your career. You know, even they hired me on the low end, and then they go, oh, sorry, we didn't give you the right money you're supposed to have. Who does that? I mean, never had that. Yeah, I'm like, what the world? Um, but it only takes God to actually move you from something like that. Now that that is where it's a good thing to a God thing, but it doesn't look very good. You know, like in the 50s and you gotta go back down to the 30s, and you like, oh, wait a minute, I don't think with that one boy on TikTok. This is not of the kingdom. This is not of the kingdom, but it is, you know, my mother said, I trust God, and I love and trust you that you heard him. So we're gonna my dad fussed all the way down 71. He's like, Are you nuts? What is going on?
SPEAKER_09So God a long time ago, which it it it's sometimes which I did it with a different interview, and I believe this with my entire heart, which is why we have to hear God's voice clearly. It's because God's what he told you, your purpose, and what he's speaking to you was never a conference call. No, never was it was between you and him, and sometimes that's why we have to operate. And I'm learning this the hard way and had to learn it the hard way. It's in the book, I even wrote about it that sometimes we just have to move in silence and let God just show and expose us for the great things he's doing because people will never understand why God may be pivoting us because we can do absolutely more in Kemp than we could ever do in man. And sometimes that's very difficult to hear because you got degree for this and you did this for that, and you you know, you've sown your whole life to be in this position, but that was for that season. And when we operate and understand what God is doing for us, seasons change, yeah. And we know that we have the ability to be like uh God when He told Abram before he became Abraham, get up and move. Yeah, he did, yeah, he did.
SPEAKER_03Girl, you preaching my you preaching my whole life here, move, and I you can't you don't even get to know where you're going till I say move, till you get up and pack, then you'll know.
SPEAKER_09Listen, it's a struggle bus. Yeah, struggle bus, but for people, and again, let me just be clear as a preacher, as a life coach, these are still lessons that I still have to go through. Absolutely. When you're making certain amounts of money, jumping off the the high diver board versus the line the low dive board, it's it's it's scary. And so sometimes you that's where the the devil really tries to trick us up about what we are called to do, and that God will provide. Yeah, that's why it's so important. Yeah, you want to share your dreams with everybody, but you still got to hear and trust the voice of God, or you will miss out on more than you need to, and or hence delay but not denied. We thank God for his faithfulness to still be able to make allow our gifts to make room for us, even if we're disobedient.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. Yeah, and he will, but we're gonna wander around and we may not be 40 years, but we're gonna wander around in the wilderness. We're gonna learn, we're gonna learn. We're gonna, as the old folks say, we're gonna learn today. We're gonna learn. We're gonna learn because it is more than a notion. And what the place he has me in right now for just for writing, because usually it's to help somebody else, because you know, we came up under the well, just do it afraid. We'll just do it afraid. Don't worry, just do it afraid. That part and that part afraid, yeah.
SPEAKER_09And has been part of my hashtag for forever.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So it, but it's not necessarily everybody's, even if they do have the gifts, talents, and abilities. It's not everybody's. So I I I said, okay, God. He said, do fear not. I just did three devotionals. Yeah, I when I get in the right mode, I'm I'm a crazy woman. So ask seeking knock is what I just released. That set together. And now this is fear not. Amen. I know I said it to somebody else, they go, oh, well, when you get it finished, let me know. I gotta have it. But it's 170 times where he says, fear not. Yeah. On I try to write one a day. That's that's kind of my mode when people like, oh, how do you get it done? I I work on it every day. And so this morning was as we're recording, it was fear not. And I didn't realize um Hagar. He said, Fear not. I heard the child cry. I was like, and you know, I know I know that story, Hagar. You know Hagar's story? She out there in the wilderness, and then he says, Oh, excuse me. Yeah, I know you got tangled up in a web, you didn't really have any control over, but you got to go back and serve that lady. Yeah, the mean one, the one who talks to you crazy and might be trying to jump on you, but that's where you got to go back because that child is a part of his seed, and you know, it's complicated, but yeah, you're a part of it. But he says because I heard the child's cry. And I haven't even finished white writing the devotional because I got stuck on the scripture, it wasn't really even about you, you're to fear because you're getting delivered based on the child's cry.
SPEAKER_09I was like, Oh, when we talk about that though, that's why it is so important where I tell people all the time when we go through things, majority of the time it's not even for you. Yes, it's for your elevation, but you were the one that the Lord trusted to be able to carry the weight so that somebody connected to you or someone that you're gonna run into will be able to be blessed to know that they're not alone. Number one, two, it didn't just happen to them, and three, they can make it through, and so that's why it's important that we never be ashamed of what God has brought us through, what God has brought us from, because He did it so others could be set free.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely, absolutely, yeah, and bless me. Okay, so I gotta hear about the book Boss Rights, yeah, boss rights strategist, yes, boss, okay. Tell us what boss stands for again.
SPEAKER_09Boss stands for built for opportunities, success, and service. All of us in whatever level of bosshood you are, because a lot of times people think boss means that I have to have a title. No, no, no, you just have to have the authority and the anointing. You're a boss in your length. All of us have been built and purposed for something. All of us will be presented with opportunities that we should and some we should not be taking, but we're built for the opportunities. And once we see the opportunities, the success that we can have, not only for ourselves, but those that we are connected to, that allows us to be able to move forward. All of us are ready to go and be elevated at different levels of success. And once we get elevated to those next levels, it is our service to pull others up with us and to serve based on what we've been anointed to do. So all of us, no matter whether you got a title or not, you are a boss. You are built for opportunity, success, and service.
SPEAKER_03Oh, wow. Okay, so it's a book. We've got what else we got? We've got a uh a workbook journal with it.
SPEAKER_09We are working on the workbook Jonah because now the people got the book. So let me just say this in the book, there are exercises in it. Okay, so there are exercises in it, and people were like, I need more, I want more. Yes, now so hence it's like, okay, we're working on getting a workbook to go with that book, but we're also starting to work on book number two because people are like, What next? It's like Lord, I the book just came out just a couple years ago.
SPEAKER_03It don't matter, it don't matter how quick it came out, and I'm gonna tell you. Um, you know, I always try to prepare people even before the thing comes out because fortunately you have a beautiful site and everything, but just here's free game for everybody listening. When you have a book that is um potentially transformational, first off, it came from God. Secondly, you have God's command to do it. Yeah. So it's not like you're sitting on, I'm just waiting to be, you know how that some people use it as an excuse. Sometimes it really is God. I'm waiting the Lord to release me. Oh, when he gonna release you, like what? You know, so sometimes it is timing, is everything, right? Yeah. When you've been released, no, not just released, commanded to release the book and to put it out there. You know, when it's a God, when God kisses it, when he just kind of winks at it, you gotta be ready for the impact of it. So now, but send the book, the workbook, book number two. We've got mentoring classes.
SPEAKER_09So we do. We have a life coach. I just created a Facebook group um called um bossed up and anointed. It's on Facebook, so look for that. Um, it's out there, bossed up and anointed. It's my colors are there: the orange, the blue, they're there, the yellow, the creams, they're there, boss up anointed. So, and I also do personal coaching and I can do group coaching. I'm expanding, I'm growing. Because again, I'm trying to now meet the need of the people. I even, you know, there are things I've done at work and now people from working, like, I need to meet with you, I need you to do this. It's like, okay, Lord, is this the pivot that we're doing that? We're in corporate America, but you're gonna pivot us to do more because we are. Let's just be honest, we're impactful. We are able to hear and speak what the Lord says and gives us the give to other people. So we're trying to do it. And again, still walking while I pray because this is a pivot. This is a season of I'm busy at work, I'm busy here, but God, and so we gotta trust the Lord to do what he got to do. So, yeah, we got the Facebook group. We're starting out that we do personal coaching. So if you go to my website, mywisomflows.com, you can actually book a session with me. My email address is there. So we do personal coaching, we do group coaching, we got the Facebook group that we're implementing, we do motivational speaking, we do conferences, we do all of it because whatever the Lord says, do, we want to make sure that we're available to do it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and that's uh that's a beautiful thing. The cover is gorgeous, everything you look gorgeous, all of that is just wonderful. But more important than even that, she's ready to help you. She's ready to for us to take it to the next level with the personal stories, which uh with the experience, the biblical, everything, and based on that, because first off, we don't have no whole lot of time. Uh, you know, that old song, we expect you anytime, is probably more prevalent now than ever.
SPEAKER_09And it's not time to happen, and so and we need everybody to be whole. And let me just be clear you can't find wholeness in a person, you have to find it in God and in yourself. Absolutely. People don't make you, if anything, if you get with somebody that sees your weakness, depend upon who they are, and that's why you also got to hear the word of the Lord. They they it doesn't get better with marriage and relationships. Some people seek to attach to. Weak people so that they can hold on and use them for that is. So we need people to understand the false within them. And so you're getting a certified life coach, you're getting a licensed minister, you're getting all of that experience, life experience along with it to be able to help you tap into you. Tap into what God has already said about you, place in you so that you can walk in your rights. We all have authority based on being kingdom kids. And if you don't know the king, we can introduce it to him as well.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely, absolutely, because we just don't have no time to wasting around, sitting around trying to figure it out. And I and I'm gonna be honest, I'm gonna say this right out. Some people are not ready for relationships. I don't care how many times you've been married, you're not really ready for it. You need and and people like you were divorced 13 years, 13 years, and probably could have gone 15, but because you know, I realized even after I was married, the first year was awful because it was me. I've been married before eight years. So I'm like, look at her, go sit down. You you you just do what your husband says for right now, because you're not in no good place, so be quiet and shut up. I was leaving every day. I was leaving every I told my niece I was leaving every month, but I knew that I it was me, and every time I go to God, He needs the no, it was there is a level of obedience that we have to have to self.
SPEAKER_09And let me just be clear my book is not about relationships, but what I'm saying to you is that the wholeness that we're typically seeking is within God, and that sometimes that we gotta we gotta overcome barriers to our success. We gotta understand that there's purpose in our pains. These are chapters in the church, in the book. You gotta know that enough of the lies that you tell, and one of the number one liars that you is there is us. Look at the mirror lying to ourselves. We're people pleasing. There is literally that we have to be able to see things for we're built for opportunities, right? That success is a process, right? That service is a priority. These are chapters in the book. There are things that we have to be able to really see and work out that we have skills and talents that we separated and we need to bring them together because our skills and our anointing is transferable to every area of our life. You aren't just gifted in the street, you're gifted in the church. You're gifted in your home. And when you can take all of what is in you and pull it together, then you're really making yourself a whole person with God's anointing tapped onto that and oil pulled on it. It's nothing that you can't complete.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, it's nothing you can't do. And I I'm sorry, I only mentioned go on a tangent about relationships because there's so much of it out there. I'm like, I think we just need to take, I think we need to just a little time out.
SPEAKER_09Let's let's work on ourselves individually. How about that? Listen, there is literally a chapter in the book called There's a Season of Separation. There is a difference between being single, alone, and separate. All three of them are not the same. No, when you there is some of us are vexing the single season of singleness when this is literally the time where you have to the ability to hear God clearly and work on you and the things without distraction.
SPEAKER_03That's right, yeah. And without anybody telling you and you have to serve somebody else but yourself and God. That's it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Don't forsake the and I'm not saying be I'm not anti-relationship, but what I'm saying is to you that while God has you in this space and place for you to focus on you without having to prepare dinner and not have to chase after the kids and not have to do this. I'm not saying you can't do those things when you are connected to someone great, but don't despise singleness to really learn about you so that when someone comes, you know exactly what to tell them you need.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, oh yeah. Uh oh what you're not gonna do and what you're not, and then we can keep moving. Then we can just say praise the Lord from across the service and say, Oh, ah, there he is, brother. Oh yeah, no, didn't you do any? Oh girl, no, we was just friends. Hey, we still friends. Girl, no, no, no, it's not, it wasn't meant for us to be together. No, we we don't be compatible. Now can two walk together say they agree. No, we can't agree.
SPEAKER_09We got two ears, yeah, two ears and one mouth, so we need to be hearing from God more. As much as we want to ask God from things, ask him, but you got two ears, that means you need to hear from him more than you're speaking to him.
SPEAKER_08Absolutely.
SPEAKER_09Even in prayer, that's that season of separation, so that you can be still and hear. We have so many distractions that are keeping us from hearing, which will also provide us with the comfort we need to actually be able to launch out and even walk in fear.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely. Well, you know, I think that that is one of the things, you know, people say, and this is going on, and Washington's doing that, and that was done. And I heard that. I said, Well, what did God say? Yeah, what did God say? Cut it off. What did God say? I mean, what does he want us to be focused on? What does he want you to be doing? By the time you figure that out, you ain't got time to worry about whatever they because he said he was our Jehovah Jireh, he was gonna do the providing, he was gonna open the door, he goes, He had got all that. So, oh, you know, you're gonna walk in his permissive will, divine will, you're gonna walk in his purpose and plan. Come on, let them do what they do.
SPEAKER_09And listen, if you turn off those other things, allow me to say this you will get to the place where even in the midst of everything happening, that's why we got a Psalm 46, that's why we got a Psalms 121, that's why we got a Psalms 91, that's why we got a Psalms 150. When you can set yourself apart with all of this, God will give you peace that surpasses all understanding when all hell is breaking the loose around you. So really, really figure out yes, it's happening, and what is it's happening around us, but it doesn't have to happen to us.
SPEAKER_03Exactly, exactly. Child, listen, you have given us a whole sermon today. Boss writes, a leader's guide to recognizing that you are built for opportunities, success, and service. Yes, Lord. Get your copy now at mywisdomflows.com forward slash books. And then after that, go back to home and look at everything that's out there and available, the consultation, services, products that she has available to bless your life and to transform your life and the beauty of online. I know, and more to come. And follow her on social media as well, so that you can pick up on and be in the Facebook group and get the mentorship in the group setting, and then schedule your paid paid uh consultation and the individual.
SPEAKER_09You can do a free one for 15 minutes. So the very first one for 15 minutes, so we can try to connect to see if we're for each other because everybody ain't for everybody. Well, you're right, yeah. 15 minutes free to figure out if we should be working together. So definitely sign up at least for that free consultation.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely, absolutely, because it may be just for prayer and and uh uh uh discernment. Hello, all right, so we move along. Okay, so what else is um coming up in your other world?
SPEAKER_09So, of course, we're preaching this coming August the 20th at uh 17th, sorry, August the 17th at First Baptist Church Kitty Heights. More preaching opportunities. I'm gonna be MC and speaking at WitCon, which is a conference, uh WitCon Women in IT. I'm still in technology, so still in technology. So I am the MC and going to be speaking at the Cincinnati version of that in, I believe that's in November. But then I also just got a call and asked to do the same thing for WitCon in Cleveland, Ohio in September. So always open for motivational speaking, technology, coaching, any of those things. We are here to make sure people are empowered because again, you all and we are all bosses. We just need to walk it out and understand that we are built for opportunity, success, and service. Of course, we're still singing, right? So on August 23rd, Archie Myers and Remnant were celebrating our reunion that weekend, but also the legacy of Archie Myers. So so much more that we do in ministry and in this community, and we're always serving. So we're out here giving away book packs and supplies and being able to show into our children as well to help them know that yes, guess what? This is your opportunity to show that you are ready to succeed by graduating, and however we can show it to you by giving you words of encouragement and all the tools to do that. We're gonna do that as well.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely, absolutely. Well, I special shout out to all that um you especially and Archie Byers did. Uh for my music ministry, it was just incredible. Um, it was a great opportunity. Most of the time, I was like, me, you want me to sing? You want me to call most of the time was like I saw them other people on the flyer. Did you you didn't need to call me?
SPEAKER_09Was that a mistake? This is somebody only know her, only know her as a Arthur. Yeah. Amazing song. She was an amazing woman of God. I bless you. Go Google uh Julia Rolstein, please, because honey, anointed right here. Yes, I am blessed to have her.
SPEAKER_08Well, listen, the pleasure was all mine.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, okay, I'm gonna do my little two songs and sit on down because that's all I got. It was a great opportunity, and I I appreciate it. Yeah, yeah. God is good, but you know, we clearly see the elevation in you. It's not so much some it wealth, but to me, I think it's elevation, it's just next level. That was proving ground, training ground, all that good stuff, and now the world is really gonna see. I'm looking at that wood con going, hold on, wait a minute. I'm gonna have to uh roll on through, it's right up the street.
SPEAKER_09Is northern Kentucky for the one they got four of them, I believe Chicago's Cleveland, uh Cincinnati, northern Kentucky, and it's one other city, and it's women in IT. So it's an awesome opportunity to get some real good empowerment. See women just like you. We, of course, are low in numbers in there, and of course, if you low in numbers, you're black in a woman in this field. Yeah, yeah. So it's a great opportunity to just make we're smart, we're very and that seems to be a problem for some people, but that's all right.
SPEAKER_03They're gonna they're gonna jump on the bandwagon event. I'm so glad you're gonna be MC and you got a personality plus. I know that's gonna be great. Oh my gosh, I gotta see if I can get that on my list and in my budget.
SPEAKER_09Hello. Yeah, this is my second year. They request I went last year, somebody was like, Y'all gotta get it, you gotta get it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, well, you know, some kind of nerd people they don't have much personality sometimes. Now we we we're those nerds that just stick out. Like it's okay, short story. So I I was the um uh technical coordinator for my school, right? And so then we would go to the the meetings, and I'm like, how you know I'm just personality. And uh so now it's been I've been retired seven years, you know, away from my school, seven years, but I walked into a school to to read one of my books or whatever, and she goes, I remember you. I was like, I'm pretty unforgettable. I said, I remember you too. I said I'm pretty unforgettable because my personality is pretty, pretty big. So I I know they wanted you back because you was gonna liven up the room because um not only just with your smarts, but your personality too. Because yeah, the nerds are pretty, pretty calm and you know. But we love I'm married to a nerd, he's fun too. So I'm looking forward. That's so good. Good for you. I'm so proud of you. I'm so excited.
SPEAKER_09Oh my god. I'm looking forward to connecting. I listen, I'm asking, I'm asking because I believe in this season what's gonna propel me and others is this the power of connection and collaboration.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I we just need to look at calendars once we get here and figure out when that is and the term now. My problem is I usually am done already this year. Like I'm um, unless I can oh no, but well, when is it?
SPEAKER_09When is it? That's how I want my life to be because if I'm done for the year and mean I booked and booked and busy, then I can actually go be still and hear the Lord clearly on.
SPEAKER_03Yes, yeah, because I have you know, I already have my word for 2026. I already have even it. I already have my word for 2026. I start that so my birthday is May 29th. So whereas consecration for some people, no offense, I'm not hating on nobody. You do for your community what you need to is January. Oh, I'm I'm in full motion because I got everything of that. That's in June. And so when when I retired seven years ago, let you in on a little secret. God was like, okay, when we stop this um school 24-7, 40-hour week job, 50 sometimes, week job thing, that's gonna be your new year. So your birthday is now gonna be the new year, not January, your birthday. So we start counting from June 1st to June 1st. So more like a fiscal year in corporate America, right? And so therefore, my new year of like, Lord, what do you want me for the next year? Is in June. So that's kind of my 30 days of you know graduation, all that. That's kind of my consecration time. When I come out and he says, All right, your word for 26 is this, your word for this. Okay, three to five years, this is where we're gonna be. And I'm in year three of the three to five. Yeah, girl, no, I don't he don't play about me. I don't play about him because I'm like, I do, I'm sick. I turned 62 this year. I do not have no time.
SPEAKER_09It's not cracking. But listen, it's not cracking. It's not cracking. 62 or two.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, oh, I don't have, I have more years behind me than ahead. So you don't, you can't, I'm just a handful. Whoever's listening, you can't spend a lot of energy and time. And it and it's not has anything to do with I'm not hating on anyone, I'm sitting over here. I told uh Bishop the other day, I said, baby, I a convocation season, I went to about 15 convocations because I was just seeing them virtually and I could check on people and I was clapping, but I knew that wasn't where I was supposed to be. Come on. So just because I wasn't supposed to be there doesn't mean I can't congratulate and root you on from my seat, from my office. I'm loving it. Bless them, Jesus. I can speak in tongues and roll out on the floor, I can do it all from my office. No high heels and no hat on my head. I can do it right there with uh with my water in my cup, you know, the whole nine yards.
SPEAKER_09So I'm like, But can I speak to this real quick too, though, before I know we got to wrap it up too. But what Julia is saying for those who are listening is clear. One, you don't always have to be on the platform, we can celebrate others who are on the platform, and that blessing in itself will actually even propel us. When people see us celebrating them, when people see us acknowledging, when people see us that who they may think are grand, doing the great thing for them. It's okay to sit under and be fed. Yes, it's okay to do that. We don't always have to be on the platform, but when we are promoted to the platform, take that opportunity, bless those who bless you to get there. Don't don't uh jive the moment, be ready. And I listen, I'm getting ready because yeah, we we gotta go. We gotta go. Oh yeah, absolutely. To connect with, I mean, God does his timing is perfect. Trust me, Juie and I have been trying to connect for some time. This is the season. This is the time, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it's gonna be a blessing, and I'm super excited for what's going on.
SPEAKER_03I know I already, yeah. Yeah, I gotta figure out the next oh well I already have it the first thing, and then we'll we'll figure out in person what we're gonna do it next. Cause this is wonderful. Go to mywisdomflows.com. Get your book, get in the Facebook group. Let's miss, let's make this happen. Let's do this thing. We will not be going another month, another day, another hour trying to figure it out. We need community, we need a tribe, we need anointed call people to help us get there. So understand it's a safe place, a safe space, and so you don't wander around this Marbur Bush in 2026, 2070, and say, Oh, I haven't that that to me just infuriates me. Yeah, we gotta get there. I want you to get there.
SPEAKER_09No, no, we all gotta get focused. It it it I always even as a minister, I tell people none of us all have it together, but what we can do is always reset and get on the right track. Exactly. It's the season for us to really focus in on. Yes, we've been afraid, yes, we made mistakes, yes, we fumbled the ball, but just like any good game, you get back up until the clock stops. Yeah, you do.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_09And you can stop the the day your clock stops is when the Lord calls you home.
SPEAKER_03That's right. And you're not going until your assignment is over, you're not going until your assignment's in. So you gotta go get on in there and get it done. Cause baby, he ain't he gifts and callings come without repentance. Taking it back.
SPEAKER_08Let's go.
SPEAKER_03Yes. You know, I love you. I appreciate you. Now wait for us to figure this out, but we're gonna we're gonna get it done. We're gonna get it gone. You all be blessed and everything. My prayer, thank you again for being my guest. But my prayer today, tomorrow, and always that you all live your best life. Let's go.
